On August 10, 2012 James and I got married. The following day James had a civil service test at 9 am, and he got first. The next day we headed out to the Bahamas !! We are so happy and so ready for this new adventure. I am going back to school next week and things are going to get really busy around the Arredondo household.
James and I moved into a small town outside of Amarillo, it is like 15 minutes away from my parents house, so not too far. The only down fall is, my life is there. I was sad yesterday that I moved away from my routine. Thankfully my husband has talked me through it, with prayer of course and I am okay. I just miss having the gym not even 2 minutes from my house. Eventually your body hits a spot where there is no change, so I think this will be an opportunity for growth. Re-organize my goals, and priorities! Life is all about constantly changing for the better.
(Thankfully we still have a membership to that gym, I just have to get up extra early to travel there and then back to town for class!)
Our honeymoon was page one of our new adventure, so I figured I would share these pictures with y'all while we wait for wedding photos.
4 a.m. came really early.
Plane Shot
They had a million aquariums. Seriously each one was so unique and gorgeous.
This was on the back side of the main tower. People rent bicycles to ride on top of the water, it was awesome.
Night shot of the main tower.
James and I this has the coral tower in the background.
Inside joke. I love dolphins growing up, like obsessed. We wanted to show tim that I wasn't afraid of the dolphins and I could "swim" with them.
James loved this bridge.
This is where we spent most of our afternoons. It was the most breath taking beach ever, not crowded and so relaxing.
Tea area :)
Sooooo humid there :)
Our view from our balcony.
Our favorite restaurant was bimini road, and this is a picture of James waiting for his wine :)
&& then me.
Finally our wine. I feel like it was even better in the bahamas.
That night we walked into the casino and it started pouring instantly.
Starbucks for breakfast, I think James was thirsty.
Everyday we had this for lunch. Clif bar, fruit and James ate nuts to help fill him up more.
Steam boat fumes.
2nd favorite dinner was at the pizza place. It was amazing.
We got brave and went into town to see the market.
We loved the boat ride over.
Waterfalls everywhere.
This is where we spent our last afternoon. We loved this beach, it was hidden kind of. It looks like it has a bunch of people but honestly it didn't. This beach was by our tower away from the rides and attractions. It was relaxing.
We bought a water camera to take on our water slides, and rides adventures. Hopefully I will get them back soon so I can scan them in as well!
Atlantis is highly recommended. Only downfall you might spend your entire savings there. Watch out for hidden fees.
